THE JOURNEY
From the outer court to His presence.
Come near.
COME AS YOU ARE.
Everyone began here — the outer court, open to all, however far you had wandered. This is where the journey starts.
SURRENDER.
Before anything else, the altar. A place to lay something down before you go further.
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God."
Romans 12:1 (KJV)
CLEANSING.
Before the priests could serve, they washed — not to earn their way in, simply to come clean.
"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
Psalm 51:10 (KJV)
HIS PROVISION.
Bread, set out continually before the presence of God. A reminder that provision was never meant to be rationed.
"Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies."
Psalm 23:5 (KJV)
HIS LIGHT.
"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
John 8:12 (KJV)
PRAYER RISES.
What's carried here doesn't need to be loud. It only needs to rise.
"Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice."
Psalm 141:2 (KJV)
THE VEIL
Between you
and His presence.
COME NEAR.
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
You don't have to stay outside.
Wherever you are in this, you're invited to keep going — not alone, and not just today.
